Don't Wait Up is a British sitcom that aired for six series from 1983 to 1990. It starred Nigel Havers, Tony Britton and Dinah Sheridan. Don't Wait Up was written by George Layton. It was directed and produced by Harold Snoad.

Don't Wait Up starts as Dr. Tom Latimer splits up from his wife Helen. At the same time, his father Toby, also a doctor, announces his intention to divorce his wife of 30 years, Angela. Father and son then move in together and frequently argue about politics and medical practices. Tom tries to get his parents back together, while he goes after Toby's secretary Madeleine Forbes.
