Don't Quit Your Day Job! is the debut album by rapper Consequence released on March 6, 2007. It features "Grammy Family", a song featuring John Legend and Kanye West which originally appeared on DJ Khaled's album Listennn... The Album and was released as a single in 2006. His debut single for this project is entitled "Callin' Me". Guest appearances on the album are Kanye West, John Legend, GLC and Really Doe. The album was leaked to the Internet on March 2, 2007. In its first week the album sold 7,490 units, debuting at #1 on the Billboard New Artist chart.[1][dead link] Following criticism, Consequence offered a refund deal on his MySpace page, claiming that anyone who purchased the album and was disappointed by it could contact him and get their money back.[1][dead link]

However, despite a disappointing first week, Consequence has managed to do enough self-advertising to make the record sell nearly 140,000 copies.
