Don't Play That Song Again
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"Don't Play That Song Again" was the UK entry for the 2000 Eurovision Song Contest. The song was performed by Nicki French, already a big name in the UK, having had a massive hit in 1995 with a cover of Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart". Despite a strong performance, Nicki French, who wore a lilac trenchcoat over a bright purple two-piece outfit, ended the voting in sixteenth place- the worst ever showing for a UK entry up to that time.
