"Don't Knock My Love" is a 1971 song recorded and released as a single by Wilson Pickett on the Atlantic label. The song which was produced under a funk tempo became one of Pickett's final big hits reaching number thirteen on the pop singles chart and becoming the singer's final number-one hit on the R&B singles chart. The song was later revived three years later in 1974 as a vocal duet between Motown stars Marvin Gaye and Diana Ross. Their version was produced under the similar Pickett production and was a modest charter upon its spring release peaking at number forty-six pop and number twenty-five on the R&B singles chart. It became the final American release from the duo's Diana & Marvin album.
