Don't Get Me Wrong

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Don't Get Me Wrong" is a song released by The Pretenders. It was the first single taken from the group's 1986 album, Get Close.

This song was more commercial than the band's usual sound, with a jangly guitar sound and a poppy melody. However, the lyrics were still as biting as their earlier material.[citation needed]

The song was a hit single on both sides of the Atlantic, reaching #10 in the US and UK charts. This song can also be found on the band's Greatest Hits album, released in 2000.
