"Don't Cross the River" is a single by the group America from their second album, Homecoming, released in 1972. It reached #35 on the U.S. Billboard charts.
Daniel Peek wrote "Don't Cross the River" as well as other numerous songs for America, whom he played with for some time. He left the group in 1977 and became a born-again Christian. America's success dwindled after that.
