[edit] TOCleft.

I noticed Simetrecial removed the TOCleft tag. While it is correct that articles shouldn't normally use that, I think this is a clear case of an exception. There are a non-trivial numbers of articles that do use the modified TOCs; a TOC that huge may confuse people into thinking that there is no article, and that this is just a list, and even for those that notice the long scrollbar, it's quite a bit of scrolling.

From Wikipedia:Section:

  • A floating TOC should be used when it is beneficial to the layout of the article, or when the default TOC gets in the way of other elements.

Granted, it's a bit wide for a TOC, but it's not like there's no precedent for using it, and I think it's appropriate here. SnowFire 23:46, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
