[edit] 1997 to 2007

Tamania is the BEST on GLBT issues - Yet the most heterosexist state in Australia?

Timeline Tasmania:

  • 1997 - repealed sections 123 and 124 from the criminal code.
  • 1999 - outlawed discrimination on sexual orientation
  • 2004 - significant relationships Act.

Is this the BEST or what!!!??? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 58.168.61.189 (talk) 07:02, 3 May 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Domestic partnerships?

The term domestic partnership is mostly used in the US. Is Tasmania's model actually called a domestic partnership? Is the title of the article accurate, or should it be called 'Registered relationships in Tasmania', or 'Recognition of gay unions in Tasmania'? I can't quite figure out what any of the Australian same-sex relationships are called exactly aside from the ACT's Civil Partnership! Ikzing (talk) 04:21, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
