Dominion Road is a road in Auckland, New Zealand, made famous by the Mutton Birds' 1992 song, titled "Dominion Road".
There has been endless debate in New Zealand as to where exactly "halfway down Dominion Road" actually is (as mentioned in the song) as an extension has been built to this road. However, as the extension was built after the song was written, it seems obvious that the song refers to the original Dominion Road.
