Dominick Brascia

Dominick Brascia is an American actor, film director, producer, and radio personality. He has starred in several films beginning in the 1980's. His well known role is in the 1985 horror film Friday the 13th: A New Beginning as Joey. His other well known film role was in the 1994 film National Lampoon's Last Resort.

Dominick directed the 1988 horror film Evil Laugh, which took only a couple of days to film, and he directed the 1988 film Hard Rock Nightmare. In 2001 he directed the film My Life as a Troll, and the latest film in 2002 was Breaking the Cycle which was released to video. He has made guest appearances on TV shows such as Knight Rider, Night Court, Otherworld, and Amazing Stories.

Dominick started doing radio in the 1990's in Las Vegas, Nevada on the AM station 840 KXNT. His morning show rated very highly, beating out Don Imus in the top ten radio talk show hosts and coming in only second to Howard Stern; but the management replaced him with someone else.

Dominick later moved to Denver, Colorado to the radio station KNRC where he had a weekday morning talk show called "Dominick and Bill Live." Technical Producer, Eric Hermosillo ran the board. Later he moved to Beaumont, Texas and is now the Program Director and hosts the morning show at News Radio Fox 1340, KOLE in Port Arthur, Texas.

Station owner Ralph McBride recently (November, 2007) sold KOLE to a group in Chicago that does primarily Ethnic programming and Brascia's last show was just before Thanksgiving 2007.

Dominick started a new afternoon show on Birmingham's WERC AM on Wednesday, May 28, 2008. It runs from 2 PM to 6 PM Central and can be heard on-line at www.960werc.com.
