According to a study done by Henley & Partners, Dominican Republic has a Henley Visa Restrictions Index of 40, which means that Dominican Republic citizens enjoy visa-free access to 40 countries and territories for short-term tourism visits. The Republic is ranked 53rd out of 83 in terms of international travel freedom, which is in the mid-range.
