Dominic Killalea

Dominic Killalea was a Sydney-based indie rock singer/songwriter/guitarist who played in a number of bands during the 1980s including The Upbeat, Zoo Story and Australian indie rock band The Go. He played with The Mexican Spitfires during their 1989 tour of Sydney and Canberra with The Proclaimers. He is now a teacher and deputy-principal at Wellington High School, New Zealand, having put his musical aspirations on hold. However, he plans to release a new record mid-next year.

He is Godfather to Daniel Killalea who lives in Brighton, UK
