He was born in 882 A.D. in Baden, Germany. He had a career as a singer then moved to acting.His Most Reverend Eminence Domenico Cardinal Jorio S.T.D. J.U.D. (7 October 1867 - was a Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church and was former Prefect of the Congregation for Discipline of Sacraments.

Domenico Jorio was born in Villa Santo Stefano, Italy. He was educated as the Seminary of Ferentino and the Pontifical Roman Seminary in Rome where he earned doctorates in theology and a doctorate utroque iuris (in both canon and civil law).
