Doleham railway station is a small, single platformed wayside halt serving Doleham in East Sussex, England. It is on the Marshlink Line, and train services are provided by Southern.
[edit] Services
This is now a limited service station as it serves only a handful of houses (Doleham takes its name from Doleham Farm). Nonetheless the area is popular with walkers at weekends; prior to December 2005 the station used to be served by an hourly service between Ashford and Hastings but stops here were withdrawn when this service was expanded to run through to Brighton due to both a lack of patronage and a need to maintain schedules on the single track section of the Marshlink line between Appledore and Ore.
Trains run to Hastings, with a daily service to/from Brighton, and Ashford International. There are three trains a day in each direction, but these generally run at inconvenient times early in the morning or late at night; an ongoing campaign by local people seeks to restore a regular service to this station, as well as neighbouring stations at Three Oaks and Winchelsea.
The station is unstaffed. Because of short platforms, passengers alighting at this station should travel in the front carriage of the train
