'Doja to theo' (glory to the God) is a song by Mikis Theodorakis, the leftist socialist Greek composer. The song is revolutionary and humorous; it is about the use of religion by right politicians to deceive the people with lies by making them believe they needed no food or leisure because by doing hard work for the government they would go to the heaven. its lyrics say 'la-la-la, in morning, in the rain, in the strong sun, for only one small piece of food and some small glass of water, and glory to the God!' (the people were working all the day and promised to go to the heaven after death) and the lyrics end with saying 'oh our Sun how up you are! Glory to the People!' - the Sun is a symbol for the socialist society.
