[edit] License tagging for Image:Man Push Cart poster.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Man Push Cart poster.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 12:05, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Kingsgameposter.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Kingsgameposter.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 19:01, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of TheMoviesClub

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on TheMoviesClub, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because TheMoviesClub seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting TheMoviesClub, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click here CSDWarnBot (talk) 20:31, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for your note. I've created a "sandbox" page for you at User:Dogwoofpictures/Sandbox that contains the deleted material you requested. I suggest that the best way for you to proceed would be to work on the article in the sandbox page by adding the multiple references to which you referred in your note; once you've added them, you can re-mount the article yourself. A couple of points: I have a feeling that you might be misunderstanding what is meant here by "references", so I'll suggest that you read the material at this link -- the policy page there will also confirm for you the types of citations/references that are considered "reliable" here. The other point is that once you recreate the article, it will be subject to the same scrutiny as it received the first time -- it will be assessed by editors and/or administrators with respect to notability, availability of reliable sources, etc. If you have any further questions or require further assistance, feel free to leave me a note. [edit] Speedy deletion of TheMoviesClub

A tag has been placed on TheMoviesClub, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. -- Levine2112 discuss 22:13, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
