[edit] Changes in dog society from research?

Anon user has posted here and in dog society that recent research says there is no dominance hierarchy. I've heard or read nothing to that effect. Has anyone heard such a thing and are there sources to cite for this, as there are plenty of other sources for the current knowledge that contradict this? Elf | Talk 02:46, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Training collars section cleanup

The section listing training collars has inconsistent formatting and bad grammer, especially the section on Head Collars. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.30.113.33 (talk) 13:48, 11 May 2007 (UTC).

I've just removed the notice, as the section appears to have been previously cleaned up. Elf | Talk 03:18, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Slip Collars

There is no consensus about the use of slip collars. The bolded statement about not using slip collars for regular training is not neutral. I've marked it as not being neutral. (—Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.255.213.195 (talk • contribs)

I've just removed the notice, as the statement you refer to no longer seems to be in the article, and on reading the section, it appears to give a balanced picture. Elf | Talk 03:13, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Woodhouse Collar?

This section would benefit from a discussion of the Woodhouse training collar, as it is significantly more effective and humane than traditional "choke" collars. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Colligation (talkcontribs) on July 28, 2007.
