Doghat is a town and a nagar panchayat in Baghpat district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.

As of 2001 India census[1], Doghat had a population of 13,261. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%. Doghat has an average literacy rate of 57%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 67% and, female literacy is 44%. In Doghat, 16% of the population is under 6 years of age.

The Nagar Panchayat's used to have Chairman which has to be elected by the people of town. The Doghat Nagar Panchayat has Adv. Harbir Singh Panwar as its chairman for last two consecutive terms.
