[edit] Trivia
- Violent J had his friend Don hang from a rope dressed as a clown in Delray for the album cover. Don would perform with ICP in their early days, doing stunts but eventually tension caused him to drop out.
- The song "Wizard of the Hood" is actually a remake of an older ICP song called "The Wizard of Delray" from the 1990 album "Intelligence and Violence". This song would eventually be re-released for "Carnival of Carnage", minus the Yo' Mama jokes and with another skit instead. Also, the idea of Violent J traveling through Oz is retold as his first solo album titled "Wizard of the Hood" in 2003.
- "Life at Risk" contains some lyrics from the Ice Cube track "Who's the Mack?".
- The title track uses a looped sample from the George Clinton song "Atomic Dog" as its bassline and refrain.
- "Ghetto Zone" uses a sample from Rod Stewart's Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?
