DOEACC

DOEACC is an autonomous body under Ministry of Information Technology, Government of India. DOEACC conducts various level courses ike 'O', 'A', 'B', 'C'. It is based in New Delhi with a network of centres around the country. Formerly, DOEACC Society was known as Regional Computer Center (RCC).

DOEACC Society is implementing a joint scheme of All India Council for Technical Education and Department of Information Technology (formerly Department of Electronics (DOE)), Government of India. The objective of the Scheme is to develop quality manpower in IT by utilizing the expertise available with the computer training institutes who are granted accreditation for conducting specified Levels of courses, subject to their meeting well-defined norms and criteria.

DOEACC stands for Department of Electronics and Accreditation of Computer Courses.

There are 5 Computer courses offered from DOEACC

CCC Certificate Course on Computer Concepts

O Level Equivalent to Foundation level course. There are four papers in this level.

A Level Equivalent to Advanced Diploma in Computer Applications. There are ten papers in this level.

B Level Equivalent MCA[disambiguation needed] Level. For students doing B level after A level, there are fifteen papers, for students doing B level directly, there are twenty five papers.

C Level M. Tech Level

Other than these courses, DOEACC is also conducting few other courses in bio-informatics and hardware. DOEACC is known for its quality in computer education in non formal sector in India.

The DOEACC Society has centres at Aurangabad, Aizawl, Calicut, Chandigarh, Gorakhpur, Tezpur/Guwahati, Imphal, Kolkata

Apart form these DOEACC have accredited centers all over India. Some well known DOEACC institutes are C-DAC Noida, MBit, MAHAN and JLJ
