[edit] License tagging for Image:Sharing Mocha Inlay.png
Thanks for uploading Image:Sharing Mocha Inlay.png. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 15:07, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] James Curry, et al
I proposed deletion for a couple of articles, Jimmy Spice Curry, and James Curry, that you created or contributed to. Please feel free to comment on the talk page if you think they ought not be deleted and remove the deletion notice if you have some evidence of notability. --Kchase02 (T) 00:30, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Kchase02: Another poster doubted the authenticity of James Curry. If you'd like to do a http://www.google.com search for "James Curry" "Filthy Rich Gangster", "Gun Lordz", "Jimmy Spice Curry" you'll see the many web links. Take care.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Doctorcreator (talk • contribs)

- Thanks for addressing my concern. If you want to just create one page, you can create redirects to point from the variations on his name to whatever the most accepted form is (his given name or the name that he's known by in the industry, whatever is best). Just go to Wikipedia:Redirect if you need help figuring out how. Alternatively, there's a button amongst the editing buttons at the top of the page edit window that's pretty self-explanatory. It's at the right end and looks like "#R". Just ask me if you need help with that. Cheers and happy editing! Kchase02 (T)
- I took the liberty of going ahead and merging the content. Now anyone searching for his movies or variations of his name will just be redirected to Jimmy Curry, which essentially covers all his movies, though you might want to add some of his AKAs. --Kchase02 (T) 01:52, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

- I've actually never uploaded an image, but here would be the place to start Help:Contents/Images and media. If you have trouble, drop me a line and I'll do my best to help you out. If it's on the internet somewhere, I can probably just upload it for you. Also, check Wikipedia:Copyright problems to make sure it satisfies the copyright lawyers. Finally, it's helpful on wikipedia to sign your messages on talk pages by placing four tilde's after your statement's, like this: ~~~~. There's also a signature button, third from the right end of buttons. Cheers! --Kchase02 (T) 18:47, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Bahamian movie
Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Bahamian movie, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Importance). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the relevant issues at Talk:Bahamian movie. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] Jimmy Curry
Somebody else added a proposed deletion tag to Jimmy Curry, with the explanation that "Can't find Curry or Gun Lordz at http://imdb.com, A7 vanity". I contested it. You should go to Talk:Jimmy Curry to try to verify and so forth. (We get a lot of junk vanity articles on wikipedia and people have gotten kind of paranoid about that, so I suspect that's why the article's getting challenged again.) I'll do what I can to help you with wikipedia policies and such. --Kchase02 (T) 08:03, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
FYI: They have now taken it to "Articles for Deletion", which means that people comment on whether the article ought to be deleted or kept. I recommend you try to find a justification for it at WP:BIO and then contribute at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jimmy Curry. I, for one, can't see that it meets our policies. Sorry. --Kchase02 (T) 21:47, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
