Doctor Free is the Wikipedia user name of Dr. Ronald Joe Record.
Dr. Record obtained a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of California at Santa Cruz in 1994. He has been employed as the chief open source software architect at The Santa Cruz Operation (SCO) since 1983. Prior to that, he served as a teaching assistant at UCSC and worked at NASA Ames Research Center in the automated guidance and navigation laboratory. For additional information see ronrecord.com.
