Docludi. Really Steve Doherty or Doc. An old Twisted Wheel boy from the sixties. Influenced as a teenager by what is now called Northern Soul but at the time was just great Soul music. Later, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Jackson Browne and the like. More Mozart than Mitch Ryder these days but the african heart of music still moves me. Thomas Mapfumo is a firm favourite.
