Pope Aedmundus I, born Edmund G. McKeown, is a former head of the Church of SHUMUN. As head of multiple jurisidictions, he carries several names besides Aedmundus Primus (Edmund I); Ioannes Paulus Tertius (John Paul III) as head of the Holy See, Assad Akhterus Secundus (Akhter II) as head of the Baluchi Archdiocese, Ioannes Mathias Michelus Secundus (John Matthew Michael II) as head of the California Metropolis, Adamus Lernus Secundus (Adam II) as head of the Diocese of McQuaid, and Benedictus Septdecimus (Benedict XVII) as head of the Bavarian Archdiocese.

He is known for the endowment of many monastic orders, including the Sisters of the Holy Order of McKeown, of which, Sister Ashleia is currently abbess.

Upon final conquest of Great Britain and ascension to the English throne, he will likely take the regnal name of either Edmund II or George VII.
