Documentary New Zealand Trust

The Documentary New Zealand Trust is a not-for-profit charitable organisation with these aims:
- To promote documentary as an important form of recording what is happening in our society and as a means to build understanding and goodwill
- To promote documentary as a valuable archival resource
- To empower communities through and with documentary filmmaking skills and resources
- To as an advocate for documentary filmmakers in New Zealand
- To create opportunities for collaboration between New Zealand documentary filmmakers and overseas documentary filmmakers
It is responsible for the organisation of the DOCNZ International Film Festival and the DOCNZ Summit.
