Doctor of Social Science

The Doctorate of Social Science is a higher qualification offered by select universities, which serves as a doctoral level qualification specifically relating to academic work in the field of social sciences.

The D.Soc.Sc. can be considered as the equivalent of a Ph.D.. Whilst it is not widely offered as a qualification by universities, it is gaining in popularity, and is offered in numerous countries.
