Richard "Doc" Urich is a former head coach of the Buffalo (1966-1968) and Northern Illinois (1969-1970) college football program.[1]

Urich was the 12th head college football coach for the Northern Illinois University Huskies located in DeKalb, Illinois and he held that position for two seasons, from 1969 until 1970.
