Dobcross is one of the smallest villages in the Saddleworth parish of the Metropolitan Borough of Oldham, in Greater Manchester, England. The River Tame runs through Dobcross, and the Huddersfield Narrow Canal passes through the lower part of the village. Historically part of Yorkshire, West Riding, it has three pubs (The Swan, The Navigation and the Woolpack) and two churches: Holy Trinity (Church of England) and Dobcross Methodist Church.

It is known for being the birthplace of the Platt Brothers- tycoons of the cotton industry. It was the location of the 1979 film Yanks starring Richard Gere, and is home to the successful Dobcross Youth Band and Silver Band.
