Doan Van Chan (b. 1894?), could possibly be the oldest man alive. However, his age has not been authenticated by Guinness World Records or the Gerontology Research Group.
Chan had nine children and only three are still alive and the oldest is Doan Thi Hien who is 82, Doan Van Tien, 70 and Doan Thi Luyen who is 68. His wife died in 1943 when Chan was only 49.
It is unknown if he shows any proof of birth or not. But if his age is exact he could be the oldest man in the world.
