[edit] Promoter?

DNA were inspired by a promoter who wanted a band composed of first-time musicians.

I'm a little skeptical of this. Does anyone have a reference?

I actually have evidence saying otherwise. Robin Crutchfield moved to New York and was inspired to start playing music after seeing a Teenage Jesus and the Jerks concert. He was introduced to Arto and they eventually recruited Ikue Mori because she was the girlfriend of Reck, bassist from TJ & TJ. I have taken the liberty to change that. [edit] Tim Wright

While DNA did have a Bass Player named Tim Wright, the link points to another Tim Wright a british composer for video games. The Tim Wright who played with DNA was from Cleveland. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mondocane (talk • contribs) 14:57, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
