[edit] The quality of your edits
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia from me, too. Unfortunately, several of your first edits had to be reverted. To avoid this in the future, please be aware that Wikipedia articles should only contain established and uncontroversial information, not personal speculations and opinions. See Wikipedia:Verifiability and Wikipedia:Neutral point of view
- Do not insert your personal speculations about a person's sexuality into an article, as you did in George Michael repeatedly. See also WP:BLP
- Merely claiming that an opinion is widespread is not enough, you should cite sources.
- I don't know if you are a native speaker of English, but please make sure that you understand the meaning of the words "type" (or "genre") as used in that section before making edits like this again. I also wonder what made you claim that Christian Bale is his own grandson.
Regards, High on a tree (talk) 03:22, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
- OK, my edit to Christian Bale has fortunately been reverted and I'll keep your advices in mind. Cheers, Volkov talk 13:12, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Admin
Hello! To answer your question: No, I am not an admin. What is the problem, maybe I can help you too? Kind regards, — Tirk·fl “…” 21:20, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I was just curious but thanks for your help offer. If you need something I'd be proud if I could help too but I'm not yet an expert like you. But if there's something, you can ask me too of course ;-) Volkov talk 13:19, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for experimenting with the page Nothing Else Matters on Wikipedia. Your recent edit appears to have added incorrect information, and has been reverted or removed. All information in the encyclopedia must be verifiable in a reliable published source. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thank you. Anger22 (Talk 2 22) 00:32, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
- That's not an incorrect information, it is clear that the music genre of Nothing Else Matters is Alternative rock. This music genre has nothing to do with Hard rock. If it is so, then please give me a source. Volkov talk 10:34, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Nothing Else Matters. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Anger22 (Talk 2 22) 10:36, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
- PS For your reliable source read here. Alternative rock is not listed as a style anywhere because there is nothing remotely close to alternative rock on the entire album. Do not edit according to you own uncited pov. If you continue to add false information to Wikipedia you will be blocked from editing. Anger22 (Talk 2 22) 10:42, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
- OK, I trust you but Nothing Else Matters sounds like Alternative rock. If I'll find any sources for that then I will add it again and you can keep your block threats for your own. Volkov talk 10:52, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Kevin Durand
"Found by google" is not a source. --Onorem♠Dil 12:34, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
- I can give you sources from more websites if you want. Volkov talk 16:53, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
I'm confused. First, you claim to be adding 6'6" as a sourced height. Then, you change it to 6'7" without explanation. Then, you change it back saying that 6'7" is overestimated nonsense. Follow that up with another revert to 6'7" and yet another to restore 6'6" again. If you're going to edit war with yourself over this, I'm just going to remove it again. Please don't add a height without citing a reliable source. --Onorem♠Dil 13:10, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
- Understood. He claims 6'6" on his official MySpace profile. Volkov talk 13:11, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Revan
There was no reason to move "Revan" to "Révan"; I have undone it. Additionally, when moving an article it is also the practice 99+% of the time also to include the talk page. --EEMIV (talk) 22:42, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
- I guess the name of "Revan" was written "Révan" in Knights of the Old Republic. Volkov talk 09:13, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Torrie Wilson's height
Please do not change the height of Torrie Wilson anymore. What is listed is her "billed" height, which is different than her actual height. Because WWE did the billing, they are the only source that can be used for billed height. If you want to add her actual height, you will have to go in and add |real_height= to the infobox template. However, the site you provided (http://www.torrie-wilson.us/) is NOT her official site. In fact, at the bottom of the page, it says, " torrie-wilson.us is an unofficial fan site photo gallery © copyright 2006 - 2008". Therefore, that site cannot be used. Thanks. Nikki311 17:07, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
- Well, the official website of wwe has a habit on adding false height & weight-informations. But thanks for your advice. I'll do it at once. Volkov talk 19:41, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
- That website cannot be used as a source, as it is a fansite and NOT her official site. If you can find her height information on her real official site, an interview, or an article, THEN you can add it. Until you find a reliable site (read WP:RS)...the information WILL NOT be included. Thanks. Nikki311 20:47, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
- Yes but I don't know how to find an official website of Torrie Wilson. The fact is that more sources describe Torrie being 5'9" tall. And my aim is also to remove her MySpace profile because that can be anyone. Volkov talk 12:25, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
- Actually. The MySpace really is her's. You can tell be the candid photos. Also, Matt Hardy's MySpace lists WWE Superstars' real MySpace profiles, and her's is one of them. Not only that, her official fansite posts copies of the blogs, confirming that they are indeed from Torrie. Thanks. Nikki311 17:17, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Tiny Lister's Height
Stop changing him to 6'5 1/2". You have no proof. His Official Website says 6'5" and he isn't taller than what he says he is. Lasttiger (talk) 01:54, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
- I didn't change his height, I just removed your links you gave him improperly. Volkov talk 10:45, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
Well, he is 6'5" and leave him there ok?Lasttiger (talk) 20:26, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

- On my contributions, you can see that I didn't change the article of Tiny Lister. Volkov talk 00:25, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Retro Uprising
A tag has been placed on Retro Uprising requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content.

Why was this article considered for speedy deletion? It was an important article. Volkov talk 01:09, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
I deleted this article because it did not indicate in any way why this subject is notable enough to have an article. The article merely stated that the website existed and the name of the administrator. Not every website is insignificant enough tho have an article. Having an article speedy deleted is not a bar to recreating the article, if it can be recreated without the flaw that got it deleted the first time. In this case, if you can give some indication of why this site is significant, other than it allows people to play video games (there are hundreds of such sites), then it would be safe from speedy deletion. (It may still get deleted through other processes, but those are more deliberative.) Some examples of indicating significance might evidence that the site is highly visited, widely reviewed or recommended by outside sources, or is unique in some way, such as being the only site that legallly allows you play to these games.
