Dmitry Pietrman

Dmitry Pietrman also known as Dimitry Piterman (born 1964) is a Ukrainian-American businessman.

He came to prominence in Spain due to his controlling stakes in several football clubs. He was the owner of Palamós CF between 2001 and 2003. He later went on to become the major shareholder and president of Racing Santander in 2003. Upon leaving that post he once again became the majority shareholder at yet another Spanish club, Deportivo Alavés. He has remained with this club since 2004.

Pietrman has been noted to always have Chuchi Cos as the manager of his Spanish teams, although he has been the one selecting the tactics.

Between 2001 and 2005, Pietrman and Chuchi Cos played 126 matches in Spanish football, winning 63, drawing 29 and losing 34.

In 2006 Pietrman purchased a United Soccer Leagues First Division franchise in San Francisco, California. He named his new team the California Victory.
