Dmitry Peskov

Dmitry Sergeyevich Peskov (Russian: Дмитрий Сергеевич Песков; (born October 17, 1967) is the current First Deputy Press Attaché for the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. Peskov was born in Moscow.

He has been in charge of handling Putin's press and media activities since April 9, 2000.

Dmitry Peskov was named as Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov's new press secretary on 25 April 2008 [1], putting him in place to lead Vladimir Putin's press operations when he moves to the job of Prime Minister in Dmitry Medvedev's new government.
