Archive copy at the Internet Archive Wayback Machine
{{dlw}}, Dead Link Working, tags external dead links and provides a history via the Internet Archive for the link. However, it interrupts the follow of the sentence, use {{dlw-inline}} for where necessary.
[edit] Parameters
- url or the first parameter
- The URL of the dead link, url= style must be used if the link contains an equals sign (=) as this is Restrictions on parameter values.
- title or the second second
- The link name of the dead link. If url= style was used then this must be in the title= style.

Dead external link:
[http://example.org link name]
Replaced with:
{{dlw|http://example.org|link name}}
Produces:
link name at the Internet Archive Wayback Machine |
