Easter Early Music The class was started in 1984 as the Welsh Early Music Week, at Swansea and in 2000 moved to St. George's School, Ascot. Students who take this class are advanced players of the viol, recorder and other early instruments.
There are two 90 minute sessions each day with a tutor for half of the session. One session is with the same group each day, the other session is with a group that vary in size and players.
The students learn new technique's through lectures and large and small ensembles. The students study broken consorts of viols and recorders. There is a large library available full of music for students to play.
Camp Barracudas For the past 15 years the Barracudas summer camp have been providing day camps. The Barracudas were started in 1992 as two very small summer camps that have grown to 27 camp locations. The camp is for children aged 4 1/2 - 16 years. The camp runs from Monday 31st July - Friday 25th August 2006.
St. George's School, Ascot is a camp location with a variety of activities for children to enjoy. The school has facilities that include: a sports hall, a heated outdoor swimming pool, a motor sports track, tennis courts, arts and craft room, archery range, playing fields, and a dining room. In addition to the regular camp activities there are several special intensive courses that include: fencing, football, motor sports, swimming and tennis. The intensive courses are aimed at building confidence and improving the skill level of each child.
Young Leadership Camp Sir Trevor Brooking is opening the Football Association Young Leadership Camp. The camp will improve leadership and team building skills for 100 top football athletes. The national Football Association staff will teach players how to coach and referee, sports science, goalkeeping, disability football and the new and exciting game of 5-a-side called futsal. The top three athletes will be eligible to train internationally in Botswana in the international placement programme.
[edit] My RfA
Hi, I feel I did not explain myself well regarding polls are evil. I have replied to bunchofgrapes !votein an effort to explain further but I dont know if you missed it or not. I wonder if you would mind discussing this further on my RfA talk page so that I can get some more views and discuss our ideas. I have asked other users to chip in to and would be obliged if you could pop in and have your say. Thanks --Errant Tmorton166(Talk)(Review me) 21:22, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

I've tried speedying it, but he/she keeps it up, so I don't know what to do. Technically, maybe it shouldn't be speedied. Based on the cretor's efforts, should it even be prodded or AfD'd? Thoughts? - CobaltBlueTony 15:07, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Tony Hunting
This doesn't look like patent nonsense to me; it's a perfectly adequate description of an activity. However, it does seem to be non-notable and it violates WP:NFT (which is why I prodded it). I'm going to despeedy it for the second time, but if the tag is readded I won't remove it after that. --ais523 13:15, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

Thank you very much for supporting (even weakly) my recent Request for Adminship, and for the detailed rationale you provided. [edit] Testing for WP:WEB
The guidelines for notability are admittedly a bit vague. Read WP:WEB; if you're creating an article about a website the best way to ensure that it won't get deleted for nonnotability is to include links to independent media stories about the website (the first criterion listed under WP:WEB). Whenever I have any doubts about a website's notability -- if there's an AfD for a site I've never heard of, for example -- the first thing I usually do is check the site's Alexa rank. If it's got six or more digits, that raises a red flag and I look closer to see if the site meets the notability guidelines. If the article doesn't cite any reliable sources about how the site meets the guidelines, I usually vote to delete. Keep in mind of course that I'm not an administrator. VoiceOfReason 03:54, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
- My reply with thanks :) Dlohcierekim 04:00, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
- You're welcome. Of course, Alexa rank isn't actually part of the guidelines... but it's a good early warning system, if you know what I mean. If a site has a low Alexa rank, I can usually assume it's notable without needing to dig too much. VoiceOfReason 04:20, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] RfA thanks
Thank you very much for participating in my RFA, which closed successfully today with a result of (62/18/3). [edit] Your response to AfD for Pierre Fitch
Hi, you recently added a motion for keeping the article Pierre Fitch on the page's AfD.
I would just like to tell you that citing the number of Google hits a porn actor receives is an invalid and misleading way to decide your vote. Many porn sites use Googlebombing to inflate the number of hits that their porn actors receive, so the number of G-hits is quite misleading. The same also applies with the Alexa Internet test.
If you read WP:PORNBIO, you will see that it says that "The adult film industry uses Googlebombing to influence rankings on search engines for current performers' names. As a result, the Google test is not suitable to determine the notability of a performer. This is especially the case for performers whose work antedates the Web."
I don't know if this will change your vote, but I just wanted to tell you so you would know for future AfD voting purposes.
Thanks, and happy editing!

- Well, usually there's no "way" to measure Google tests. That's why you can't say "pass Google test" or "fail Google test". You can cite the number of relevant hits and type of hits you get as your basis for your decision, but usually if I say something like "50,000 hits", I like to add some other stuff like "Fail WP:CORP or "Pass WP:MUSIC". Basically, I'm saying that you really can't use only the Google test as the basis of your decision. --Nishkid64 15:27, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

I go to alot of meetings and such in town, and I think I know who he is(but i'm not sure if he knows who I am),so I can pass along the word if you'd like. Like I said to the others, i'm not here to cause trouble, but like how it sounds with this karmafist guy, I should tell you that us Granite Staters are generally rather independent minded and defensive when people attack our feeling of indpendence. I've reviewed to blocks of copyvio from this. You are the handiest expert on copyright I can think of. The bulk of the remainder of the article is from IMDB. [edit] Seekraft
Dear Dlohcierekim,
I`m a trainee at a CRO in Starnberg, Bavaria, Germany. I think, that there is not enough biochemical, medical, chemical and genetical content in the Wikipedia. The articles I`ve posted, are technical terms for biochemical abbreviations. While working on clinical trial, I´m looking up words and names, especially the abbreviations, that are listed in the study protocols. The articles i wrote, come out of these study protocols (e.g. Roche) or they are translated from German into English by myself. Some definitions are a synthese of my knowledge and other articles. The definitions can be found easily with Google, too. I wish that there would be more medical data content for using Wikipedia as an unbeatable dictionary. I`m happy to answer any questions you may have.

I hope this is an acceptable way of contact. I read your message but it seems you didn't read all the information in your own message viz Legal complaints bottom of the page reads thus.
Making a polite, coherent complaint in cases of copyright infringement or attacks against you is not a "legal threat".

If you feel Wikipedia content libels you or someone else, you may bring it to the attention of the Community and administrators here, or by contacting the infoteam as described on this page. Disagreements as to the identity of a person, their motivations for a given action, opinions of third parties about them, etc. are not slander and legal threats cannot be used to have points of view enshrined in an article. end quote.
I have made a simple and valid complaint re poor editing ethics and due to patronising comments being the only response have now forwarded the complaint to jwales. I really do think that this is poor particularly when some individuals are making submissions as professionals where editors comments appear to undermine the authors integrity. I am involved in various forums and organisations where I have made free contributions and never encountered such an incident. Once I have been contacted by an editor over a queery with one submission but this was done privately through email. Good business ethics. - I'm at school right now, but perhaps I'll take a closer look at it later. However, at quick glance, I question whether the article is really needed in the first place. [edit] Re: Hadith
Hi, I see this has gone to AfD. Can you explain what a Hadith is and why it would be encyclopedic? I'm way out of my element here. :) Dlohcierekim 15:45, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
- I would have to say the hadith article answers your question best: Hadith are traditions relating to the words and deeds of the prophet Muhammad. Essentially, most things Muhammad advocated or did are considered hadith, and advocated in Islam (especially Sunni Islam; the Sunni refers to the Sunnah, which is supported by the hadith). So, the examples of hadith in the hadith article, like Modesty and chastity are parts of the Faith., would be a encouraged guideline in Islam. That's basically it; the hadith article really does a good job of explaining it, so you should look there if you want to know more. I suppose they could be considered encyclopedic as they are sort of like sources supporting certain rulings and practices in Islam, but I feel the article up for AfD is excessive. -- tariqabjotu 08:24, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, I tend to keep based on "not paper" for stuff like this. Mostly, it gets deleted anyway. CheersDlohcierekim 12:51, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] James Barnett
Regarding you're vote for the deletion of James Barnett I think that you should reconsider, the page has many links to the mainstream media where he is mentioned, this clearly makes him fall under the WP:BIO guidelines, "Persons achieving renown or notoriety for their involvement in newsworthy events," please reconsider.Cholga 17:23, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Edits (User:74.135.161.74)
Why did you revert my edit to Cadmium Yellow? Additionally why is there all this malicious garbage on my talk page?
Why do you not like my source? It wasn't off topic. Cadmium yellow is the collor of broken dreams.

[edit] War on Terror
Please explain why saying: the word Terror have not been officially defined and also that 9/11 is alleged to have been carried out by al-Qaeda is vandalism?
[edit] Re: User talk:62.189.193.28 blocked after my test 3
I'd also call that out of place as that would belong on the Terrorism page where it most likely is defined. While not malicious, a simple {{unblock}} would fix it up. However if the edits were "sneaky vandalism" then I don't expect to see a {{unblock}}. In either case, it will be dealt with as necessary if needed. --ZsinjTalk 16:27, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

- Technically, I blocked for the Robin Williams vandalism. This might end up being a dynamic IP too, we'll just have to wait and see. --ZsinjTalk 16:30, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
Reply on behalf of 62.189.193.28, If you read it fully you would understand that I was trying to explain that "war on Terror" is not clearly defined as there is no international agreement on what actually terror is, so how can you have a war with it? So, its mainky a US interpretation. Also, the page says that 9/11 was carried out by Al-queda, this is wrong as this has never been proved, you can say "widely belived" or "alleged". This is inaccurate. Unless you can explain why this is vandelism please unblock the IP.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.57.106.34 (talk • contribs) Cheers, :) Dlohcierekim 17:57, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
