On a personal note I've done a number of things in my life. I was a Lion. I have been an activist with my local political party and at city hall. I have even been an "avid proselytizer for the panacea I believe in." None of these things has given me as much satisfaction as editing Wikipedia.

Yes, I do have a job. This is just a hobby/obsession/addiction.
I have essential tremor, which sometimes makes editing a little interesting. Thank God for Twinkle. Thank God for spell checkers.
I do actually contribute, rather than just placing delete tags. I also have been known to upload pictures to Wikimedia Commons.
