David Karofsky has over twelve years of sales and marketing experience working with companies to excel, grow and outperform their competition. He received his A.B. from Bowdoin College where he majored in sociology and was a varsity athlete. He received his Ed.M. from Boston University, concentrating on performance enhancement and counseling psychology. David continued his graduate studies at Northeastern University where he received his MBA, focused on marketing and taught an introduction to business course to undergraduates.
David’s career experience ranging from counseling and real estate to management consulting and high tech have given him breadth and depth of experience in career planning, sales, business development, and marketing and have enabled him to help companies drive revenue growth, increase market share and become leaders in their industry.
While working at EMC Corporation over the past seven years, he has held several marketing positions including product marketing, marketing operations and competitive marketing. He has traveled internationally on four continents training thousands of sales people and corporate partners in competitive selling strategies and tactics. He has been recognized as an award recipient for his execution in helping to drive EMC to its leadership position in the market.
David has been a guest speaker at Northeastern University’s College of Business Administration. He is a founding member and chair of the Boston chapter of Young Adult Forum, an affiliate of the Young Presidents’ Organization, where he serves as his Forum’s moderator. David is a former Executive Board Member and Director for Life at Hebrew SeniorLife and a member of the MetroWest Jewish Community Center. Married for ten years and the father of two children, David is an avid golfer having competed at the collegiate and local amateur level.
