[edit] About Logan

Logan was born October 19, 1982 at East Ridge Hospital in East Ridge, TN at 7:50 AM EST. He was then rushed to T.C. Thompson's Children's Hospital for emergency surgery, after doctors learned minutes after birth that he suffered from a diaphragmatic hernia. Logan was one of few infants that lived as a result of this condition that year. Thanks to the skilled hands of Surgeon Joel Clemons, he survived and has lived a normal, healthy life since. Logan attended the Lutheran School in East Ridge, TN for Kindergarten and First grades, McBrien Elementary in East Ridge for Grades 2-4, South Pittsburg Elementary in South Pittsburg, TN for grades 5-6, and then ended up at Whitwell Middle School (later famous for the Paper Clip Project) in the economically-depressed rural town of Whitwell, TN. Logan also attended Whitwell High School, where he was a member of the Class of 2001. Logan was married briefly from October 2000 to November 2002 (now divorced/single), but is currently very much infatuated with a beautiful girl that is one of his good friends. Logan works in radio as a disc jockey and has since he was eleven years old, and has since resided in Fort Oglethorpe, GA, East Ridge, TN, and currently lives in the Historic Highland Park Community of Chattanooga, TN.

[edit] Logan's Radio Career

Logan has worked in the radio broadcasting industry as an announcer / disc jockey (and other various positions) for most of his life, starting at age 11. Logan's first major "gig" was with WEPG-AM 910khz in South Pittsburg, TN, where he was hired part-time to run the broadcast of South Pittsburg Pirates Football games on Friday nights during the Fall, and to handle the Sunday Gospel broadcasts. He later was promoted to station Program Director, Operations Manager, and several other titles before he left the company in May of 2000. During some of his time with WEPG-AM, he was also the Program Director for WWAM-AM 820khz in Jasper, TN.

Logan found employment with WDOD-FM 96.5mhz (96.5 The Mountain) in November of 1999, working part-time on the air at WDOD-FM and also at sister station WDEF-FM 92.3mhz (Sunny 92.3). Logan was the local market producer for the syndicated "Bob & Sheri Show" on WDOD-FM for its' short-lived run, and also did fill-in news reporting on "Luther's Sundial Program," hosted by the legendary Luther Massengil on WDEF-FM weekday mornings.

In February 2001, Logan made the move across town to Citadel Broadcasting's KZ106. Logan stayed at KZ106 for 5 years, before finding himself "on the beach" (a radio term meaning 'unemployed') in February 2006.

Logan is now Production Director for Brewer Broadcasting of Cleveland, and hosts afternoon drive on Alive 105 and Middays on Cat Country 93.9.

Logan has also been heard on several other radio stations in the Chattanooga, TN Market, but considers the above stations the main highlights of his career thus far.
