[edit] Looking good...

... But i don't think the album tracklisting fits in the discography. Also, there seems to be some confusion on various websites about his real name. Can we say for definite that it is Shuge?Big in albania 22:21, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

I Just read that is Shigeru, but i'll leave it just in case. Keiron22 20:43, 6 April 2006

At a lecture I attended twice at City College, Brighton UK on 24th January I personally asked his name, which I wrote down as "Shage" but I think I just misinterpreted his accent and it is "Shige", probably short for "Shigeru". - Green Gecko —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.129.157.41 (talk) 00:33, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] scotch egg as team player

i don't know if you're aware of this but: Mega Drive, Noony Banoony and Fighting Siezure Robots were all group efforts.

  • Mega Drive was a two piece equipped with said game consoles, the other member was Metronomy.
  • Noony Banoony had four members and was active in the early days of wrong music (2003/2004) when such abstract improvised noise was a mainstay of the scene.
  • Fighting Siezure Robots Busking Crew was a loose knit group with many floating members, mostly playing with cheap sound-making toys on the streets of brighton while wearing hallowe'en masks.

[edit] Matt, not Shitmat.

i suppose i should also point out that the original organisers of Wrong Music were:

  • Ben (Ebola)
  • Shige (DJ Scotch Egg) and
  • Matt (Roger Species)

None of whom had any following at that point, but they still managed to make the night fairly successful, quite a feat in Brighton, whatever kind of music you're promoting.

Henry (Shitmat) didn't get involved until much later on, which was when the musical emphasis shifted towards breakcore/mash-up gabber. To begin with, playing that style of music was usually a token nod towards dancing at the end of the evening, a contrast to the noise, drones and skronking mutant improvisation that was the original basis of the night, as well as the reason for its name.
