[edit] Biography

Dj Shah also known as Roger-Pierre Shah is an electronic producer in Germany.

He started his career in 1996 and year after year he reaches top 10 dance chart positions in Germany.

In 1999 he released his first solo single, the “claps” which went on the top 5 of all dance charts and got attention from the most importants DJs in Europe. He later released "Commandments" and "Riddim" both of which reached top 3 positions in all dance charts. His latest productions have been supported by Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, Tiesto and many more leading DJs of the scene.

In October 2005 he gave his debut on Tiesto's own label Blackhole with 'Shah & Laruso pres. Global Experience', after releasing various other tracks on other international 1st class labels in 2005 such as Ministry Of Sound UK or Ultra USA and reaches #23 in UK's sales charts with the project Commander Tom.

Dj Shah is the only German producer who has collaborated with Tiesto’s compilation known as ISOS5.

Later on he signed a deal with Armada for his solo single 'DJ Shah meets Jan Johnston - Beautiful (Glimpse Of Heaven)' as well as a second project 'Sunlounger'. It was under the latter that he released the “Another Day on The Terrace” album in 2007, which reached No.1 on Dutch iTunes’ ‘all-musicgenres’ chart.

Besides the follow up single of Global Experience, Blackhole also signed his project 'Savannah' for the world.

He collaborated with Armin Van Buuren. Both made the tune “Going Wrong ft Chris Jones” which entered the Dutch single chart at No. 5 in the first week, right after he performed the single live as well in 'Armin Only' which is Armin Van Buuren’s solo concert.

Together with Pedro Del Mar he ran the German radio show "Mellomania".[1]
