DJ Swivel, born Jordan Young in 1984, is a Canadian music producer, audio engineer, and DJ. Born in Toronto, Swivel later moved to New York City where he currently resides.

After progressing through a number of musical instruments - violin, trumpet and bass guitar - Swivel learned the art of deejaying. After deejaying for several years, he secured his first gig at The Guvernment, Toronto’s largest nightclub. That led to many more across Ontario and Quebec, including residencies at Karma, live to air on Kiss92 (Toronto’s highest rated radio station at the time), as well at The Drink in London, Ontario. He played alongside DJs and artists including Jazzy Jeff, Whoo Kid, G-Unit, and many others.

In 2005 after graduating top of his class at Full Sail, he relocated to New York where he works alongside Duro, a mix engineer in the urban music industry, as well as CEO of Desert Storm Records (Fabolous, DJ Clue). Through this partnership Swivel has worked on various projects alongside many industry veterans, including Jay-Z, Mariah Carey, Diddy, Pharrell, Britney Spears, Kanye West, Fabolous and Ice Cube, among others. Swivel is also Fabolous's personal engineer, and recorded the entirety of the latest album, titled From Nothing To Something. He was named an Official Myspace.com DJ in April '07.
