Randy Ellis (born October 30th, 1979 in Chicago, Illinois), better known as DJ Fokis "Bull Of Tha Industry" is a hip hop turntablist/producer and owner of PPEG (Pure Product Entertainment Group, LLC.) a music/marketing consulting firm from Chicago, Illinois, U.S. The moniker "Bull Of Tha Industry" was given to DJ Fokis because of his natural sense of beating or "Bullying" the competition and the turntables into submission.

He began his career as a local DJ working with radio stations and running the local DJ battle scene during the late 1990s. DJ Fokis also was a talented graffiti artist known by most of his peers as "Fokis" he went on to have many other aliases such as "Seryus" (pronounced \ˈsir-ē-əs\). At first to he studied architecture but the love music overwhelmed and fascinated him. DJ Fokis in the late 1990s was part of several well respected hip-hop crews including the world renown Chi-Rock Nation where he took part in releasing Chicago Rocks Magazine under supervision of veteran chapter members. DJ Fokis credits himself as a "Triple Threat" DJ. Triple Threat represents the future of turntablism, precisely because they've been so instrumental to its storied past. Though they have championship-level skills at scratching and beat-juggling they also know how to rock a party, produce music and create original compositions with two turntables. They are not just djs, turntablists, producers, musicians or club djs, they encompass all aspects.

DJ Fokis as a young child studied in Cincinnati, Ohio under the School for Creative & Performing Arts where he majored in art and studied drama. After returning to Chicago his love of art i.e. Graffiti grew during his high school years. While taking a interest in architecture DJ Fokis was awarded the Chicago Public Schools Newhouse Competition second place award and a summer business internship with a Chicago downtown architecture firm. DJ Fokis skills in Graffiti & Art developed more over time. The introduction to graphic design programs such as Adobe Photoshop & Corel Photo-Paint he used the programs to make a living and support for college. After graduation DJ Fokis created a small sole-proprietorship Graphinheit Studios. The unique name was created by DJ Fokis himself combining the words Graphics and Fahrenheit which translates "Hot Graphics". He soon dissolved the company in 2006 and merge his operations. He incorporated PPEG, LLC. to continue his music career and use his marketing intellect for further his career in the entertainment industry. His creativity can be seen locally and internationally mainly because he was the consulting art director for marketing album covers and promotional materials my company such as Clear Channel. In 2007 DJ Fokis opened his doors to other companies for 3rd Party consultation/marketing serivces. Most recent clients being Chicago rap group Crucial Conflict, Super-Producer 9th Wonder for The "Dream Merchant 2" Tour and Hustle Period Management home to Roc-A-Fella Records RIAA certified multi-platinum artist Kanye West.

DJ Fokis gained fame from releasing "I Can Getcha Block Knocked Off" Vol. 1 September 2006 with then newly signed artist Warlord to infamous Death Row Records. The release Executive Produced By Suge Knight and Big Los was downloaded over 250,000 times from www.djfokis.com in under 2 months. A second release to the debut street album was soon scheduled and to be release in 2007 under a co-venture between DJ Fokis, Warlord and Death Row Records Vice President Big Los. "Still Can Getcha Block Knocked Off" Vol. 2 was released August 7th, 2007 worldwide on with global distribution assistance from Apple iTunes, eMusic, Yahoo, and Sony. It received critical acclaim and amassed high scores from online & offline publications. DJ Fokis & Warlord's success of the series will soon be continues with a new series coming soon from both artist no date has been set.

DJ Fokis established a non-profit organization entitled The F.O.K.I.S. Foundation the acronym standing for Finding Outstanding Kids In School. This organization was founded to be a corner stone for kids in a inner city school that may have a talent or skill that can be enhanced/sculpted. The foundations role will be that of a older member that specializes in that skill the child possess and "shows him/her the ropes". A young aspiring singer may have the opportunity to go to a live recording session with a singer, songwriter, or producer and see first hand how things work. A young dancer, to a ballet studio, etc.

  • In May 2008 PPEG & Sedgwick Media LTD. website sixshot.com. Launched a new journal deal with DJ Fokis to document his career development in the music industry. Titled: The DJ Fokis Project: Life, Times, & Views Of A DJ. It is the first of it's kind for the leading Hip Hop website that receives over one million visits a month.
  • DJ Fokis has created a YouTube channel called BullyTV it will be a 6 episode mini-series documenting his events with Red Bull. Also doing Interviews with celebrities checking out the latest in fashion for Chicago and taking you to exclusive events only meant for the "Tha Bull" throughout the summer 2008. No release date has been given for release but expect promotional in fall 2008.
  • DJ Fokis made DJ history on February 29th, 2008 by being the only DJ on record to have performed on an active Chicago Transit Authority "EL" train. Doing a co-promotional campaign with Red Bull Energy Drink "Leap Night" involved DJ Fokis & Red Bull traveling around the Chicago area visiting 4 nightclubs. You can see the footage as a part of BullyTV this fall 2008.

  • DJ Fokis company PPEG finished marketing and graphic consulting work for a Los Angeles, CA film company Prime Cuts Productions. The up-start company expects to release an upcoming film starring Armand Assante, Busta Rhymes, & Kirk Jones aka "Sticky Fingaz" of 1990s Hip-Hop Group Onyx (group) fame titled "Order Of Redemption".
  • DJ Fokis was also part the Chicago youth political effort. In 2006 DJ Fokis & Pure Product Entertainment Group became part of "Vote 2 Live" Campaign Endorsed by then Mayor candidate Dorothy Brown. Vote 2 Live" was a non-for-profit organization to raised the awareness of the youth to register to vote when they turned the age of 18. In late 2006 DJ Fokis was part the The 77th Annual Bud Billiken Parade and Picnic the largest African-American parade in the United States and the second largest annual parade in the United States.
  • An Independent film entitled "Kings Dream" where DJ Fokis character "Steve" co-stars about a young kid aspiring to be a famous fashion designer whose deals with life's struggles. Filming expects to start in Summer 2008.
  • DJ Fokis is currently in a co-venture promotional deal with energy drink giant Red Bull USA.
  • DJ Fokis marketing & consulting work got the interest of DJ Khaled for a release titled "Matando La Liga"/"Killin' The League" with Chicago Latino Group COR Records. The marketing campaign lanuched with Clear Channel in Chicago, IL, and Miami, FL.
  • In 2007 DJ Fokis was commissioned by legendary Chicago rap group Crucial Conflict to assist in marketing the release of their 2008 studio album "Planet Crucon" on Select-O Records.
  • DJ Fokis recently announced The F.O.K.I.S. Foundation a non-profit organization aimed toward inner-city kids with talents for the arts & music. His mother Dr. Gwen E. McClinton is said to be the President.

  • With 2008 being an critical election year for voters and our country. DJ Fokis has announce a 8-Song EP album set to be release around or on Election Day called "Bullacratic". He states, The Bullacratic album is not a political album, but a political themed album. It will still have some jeweled dropped towards my peers and current youth generation, but I leave that to the listener to take advantage of, I just want the public to enjoy what I created.
