DJ Baby Anne

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

DJ Baby Anne (born Marianne Broadaway) is a disc jockey who spins Florida breaks, funky breaks, and Miami bass music. She first became famous in 1992 for mixing breakbeats in her native Orlando, Florida, in collaborations with DJ Icey. The legend holds that Icey was spinning at a private party and let Anne on the tables and having a female DJ was a hit with the crowd[citation needed]. From that point forward she began to call herself DJ Baby Anne and produce under that name.

So far, she has released 9 mix albums, most notably the Bass Queen in the Mix series. Her latest work was Past, Present, Future. Her latest album was released on Moist Music.
