[edit] Introduction
Deshawn Barnett, Stage name: "DJ. Hit-Maka" is a member of the up coming record label, "CNC Black Record". He was born in Detroit, MI and being raised in Highland Park, MI. He lives with mother due to the lost of his father in December 19, 1997. He was only 6 years old at that time. This is a quote he stated, "Even though my father is gone, he is still looking down on me and he would be prude of me. I know he would want to do something that will lead me on to a road of success." That is a powerful quote because, once you lose someone special in your life, it makes you stronger. Some people become weakened off of it but, DJ. Hit-Maka gains strength from such a lost. He has plans of becoming a huge Hip-Hop and R&B Producer and at this point, NOTHING is holding him back.

Brief Summary
Click the link here "CNC Black Records" or any other link for full article.
Founded by 2 intelligent teens that attended UHS (University High School of Ferndale) in January 2006. Todd Johnson AKA: "DJ. Tyn$e" and Imari Lymon AKA: "Black Killa" is the founded of "CNC Black Records". The way this came about was during school, they both had interest in making music, preferably beats. So during the school year, DJ. Tyn$e and Black Killa became the best of friends and they decided they should create an Up-Coming record label because, they were interested in becoming big time producers. Once they decided to do this, they had to think of a name that would represent them. A friend of theirs' named Candice Jordan had suggested the name CNC, which would have stood for Cookies and Cream. Even I, the editor knew that was not going to be agreed by Tyn$e and Black Killa. The two mentioned "Sorry No can do with that name. We need something that will make people want to listen to our music, something attractive to the music industry". That’s exactly what they did. The arbitration stayed the same but, the meaning changed. “CNC" no longer nor it ever did mean "Cookies and Cream"; it was changed to "Collekt and Cash". The word "Black" represents the "dark" side of things. So, CNC Black's meaning is the dark/secretive way of "collecting cash".
In 2007, DJ. Hit-Maka became one of the latest members to join CNC Black, as a producer/artist, in which he had just returned from a break of producing. In the summer of 2007, CNC Black artist, Epidemk, finished his first album, "Now U Know Me" which features artists such as MCF, Bizzy, Yung No, etc. Currently, the group is working on his 2nd album which is a collaboration with artist, Krisis.
