[edit] CNS vs. Semi-circular canals

the section on + test states that up and down nystagmus results from a cns lesion. then it goes on to further localize these to particular semi-circular canals. do you consider the canals to be part of the cns? i've always considered tyhem part of the inner ear, which, in turn, i don't think of as the cns. clarify? correct me? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Toyokuni3 (talkcontribs) 19:26, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
