Diwandarreh

Diwandarreh or Diwandarah (in Kurdish: Dîwandere, in persian: دیواندره) is a city in Kurdistan Province of Iran. Diwandarreh is one of the cities of the Kurdistan province that is located 95 kilometers from Sanandaj. Diwandarreh is a mountainous region and enjoys a mild climate. Diwandarreh is located north of Sanandaj and south of Saqqez. It is bounded in the north by west Azarbayjan, in the east by Bijar, and in the west by Marivan.
In 2006 census, it had a population of 22,842.
The population of Diwandarreh is Kurdish.
