Ohio State Route 761
A tag has been placed on Ohio State Route 761, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Spa toss 19:36, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
Redirect of Ohio State Highway 761
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Ohio State Highway 761, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Ohio State Highway 761 is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Ohio State Highway 761, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. You added {{Roadbacklog}} to Wikipedia:WikiProject U.S. Roads/South Carolina/Completion list, but you didn't specify anywhere what the backlog is. Could you let me know so I can see about taking care of the problem. Thanks. --Holderca1 17:00, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

Vandals
Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made: You may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit was inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Users must vandalize after final warning before you report them. Thanks again. — jacĸrм (talk) 20:47, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
- It's alright, glad to help. I suggest trying Twinkle, with which you can warn, report, revert all with one click of a button! Makes being an anti-vandal fighter easy. — jacĸrм (talk) 20:51, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
check your revert bot. the "fart" page has a made up paragraph that you restored. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.171.73.110 (talk) 07:28, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
USRD Inactivity check and news report
Hello, Milktaco. We had a few urgent matters to communicate to you:
- Please update your information at Wikipedia:WikiProject U.S. Roads/Participants, our new centralized participant list. Those who have not done so by October 20th will be removed.
- There are important discussions taking place at WT:USRD relating to whether WP:USRD, WP:HWY, or the state projects should hold the "power" in the roads projects.
Regards, Rschen7754 (T C) 23:26, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

Your recent report to WP:AIV
Hi there, I've blocked one of the IP you reported to AIV. Just a quick note however, when reporting to AIV it's not really accepted that anonymous IP's are known as accounts let alone a vandalism only account. This rationale is only really applied to a registered editor who's sole aim is to disrupt Wikipedia, and having only vandalism edits to the account, we would then block the account indefinitely as a vandalism only account. As we are unsure if it's the same editor behind an IP address at any given time we cannot issue a permanent blocks to anonymous IP's. Also can you please remember to sign your reports with ~~~~. Any problems please don't hesitate to give me a shout. Khukri 18:04, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

RE: PRODs
The reason I did that is that if you just redirect without indicating what it is (i.e. what is SR285?) on the disambig, it seems pointless to redirect it there without adding an entry for it. <3 bunny 02:25, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
- That's how all the highway redirects are . --Rschen7754 (T C) 02:28, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

Blocked
You've been blocked for running a bot without approval. Making that many edits at a time, even if done by hand, clogs recent changes and is disruptive. Please request a bot account at WP:BRFA to run a legal bot without being blocked, or slow down your editing to not clog recent changes, while review ing every edit by hand. Thanks, --uǝʌǝsʎʇɹoɟʇs(st47) 16:55, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
- Comment: I frequently batch-process things like this, eg. expired prods. I'll open ~20 in tabs, then go through clicking links one after another until I have dealt with them all. (for example, go through, perform one stage on each, then come back, and do the next stage). Stwalkerster [ talk ] 17:05, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
What happened here was that I developed a tool that might be useful in watching for unapproved bots. I explained that it was not yet to be used for any blocks yet, and that it was in testing until it could reliably distinguish bots from real users. Unfortunately, through no fault of his own, the blocking admin was not around when I explained this, and ended up seeing an alert in the channel, quickly scanning your contribs, and determining that you must be a bot because of the edit rate. Clearly, the tool needs a bit of work, and so does the communication about this sort of thing. I must apologise for the disruption to your editing — I would be frustrated in the same circumstances. If you're interested in decreasing your workload in terms of these moves/redirects, might I suggest AWB and a bot account? It does it all automatically. — Werdna talk 17:17, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
Please take on the suggestion by Werdna. I was about to block because it most definitively looks like a bot activity: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Contributions&limit=500&target=Dividing&month=&year= . I would suggest you pause the massive redirect drive, and apply for a bot account. ≈ jossi ≈ (talk) 16:03, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
