[edit] Navgachia District

I can't find much information about this district; it is not listed as a district of Bihar by India's national information centre [1] or from the Bihar state website [2]. Most of the mentions of the district found on google are copies of this one, although one can find mentions of Naugachia District in articles in Indian newspapers. Anyone have any insight? Navgachia (also spelled Naugachia) is a police district only, not a full administrative district. This means though it has a Superintendent of Police (SP), it does not have a District Magistrate. Strictly, it should not be called a district.
