Ditwits is a South African editorial cartoon created by Jeremy Nell, originating on 5 June 2007 as a daily page one regular in The Times[1] (a subsidiary of the Sunday Times), and read by approximately 130000 subscribers[2].

Nell is also recognised for his daily comic strip "Urban Trash".

Ditwits is illustrated in full colour, and appears nationally, daily, from Monday through to Friday. No strips appear on Saturdays and Sundays.

[edit] Style

Ditwits, up until late October 2007[3], was deliberately nonsensical and abstract in its subject matter. Nell has since migrated its focus to commentary surrounding current affairs.
