[edit] Background and interests

I recently graduated from university, attaining a Master's degree in Computer Science. The topics I am particularly interested in are operating systems, and parallel computing and anything to do with open source. I have a mathematical and scientific background, so I'd be interested in proof-reading any articles on those topics.

Other interests include chess, Wing Chun, and Terry Pratchett books. Terry Pratchett is great. I've only read 7 Discworld novels, but I already revere the man.

Neil Gaiman's pretty twisted too.

[edit] Why Wikipedia?

I decided to join Wikipedia when I discovered that a couple of articles I would be interested in reading didn't exist. Both were to do with computing. I've created one on BSP, and I was going to create one on Version Spaces, but I notice someone's beaten me to it. Hmm, still room for expansion though. I'll need to dig out my AI notes.
